If an item's tracking number states "Out for Delivery" or "Delivered" but has not arrived yet, then this may mean the 3rd party carrier for Dose of Roses has a heavy load that day it might not be delivered that day but the next.
It is important to remember that many 3rd party couriers work differently with their delivery methods. If DHL missed a delivery you'll find a DHL missed-delivery card in your mailbox. Our DHL courier will automatically try to deliver your parcel again the next workday but either way the tracking number will state delivered. If this does not suit you, you can select a new delivery time before 10:30 PM.
USPS has its own procedures, which states if no one is home when the letter carrier attempts delivery, the letter carrier will leave a notice and return the item to the Post Office. In addition, if the tracking states delivered but the package does not fit into your mailbox, the mail carrier will leave a form indicating the attempt to deliver and will leave a notice asking you to pick up the package at the PO.
For UPS the tracking number will indicate that it has arrived, however, shipments that don't require a signature can be left in a safe place at the driver's discretion. This could include the entrances of one's residence for the package, particularly on back porches, bushes, garages, grills, or other places that might protect your package from theft or weather. UPS also suggests to check with others at one's address, or perhaps a neighbor, to see if someone else has picked up the package.
